but to experience them directly, within a living group process.
About the Program
The Laboratory of Relationships is based on the InterAct Model — an Experience-Based Training approach focusing on relationships as they emerge in the here-and-now.
Rather than learning only through theory, participants enter a living group field, where connection, distance, conflict, and emotional dynamics naturally arise.
The group itself becomes a living laboratory — a space to experience, explore, and understand relational processes from within.
The InterAct Model
The work integrates two main dimensions:
Relational field
group dynamics and here-and-now processes; relationships within the group as a mirror of relationships in life
Inner world
emotions, roles, and personal history
Participants move between these dimensions through experience, action, and reflection

This is a Learning-by-Doing training.
Participants will gain foundational knowledge and tools in the following areas:
Psychodrama – Fundamentals
Introduction to core therapeutic concepts in psychodrama —
:the foundational building blocks of the method
ideas, principles, techniques, and their integration into group therapy

• Spontaneity • Creativity • Hunger for action • Cultural conserve Techniques include: • Empty chair • Various role-reversal techniques • Doubling • Basic role reversal principles
Group Therapy I – Introduction to Group Psychotherapy
Understanding therapeutic factors in groups and introduction to Yalom’s here-and-now approach.
Participants will learn the foundations of dynamic group therapy and its integration with psychodrama.
The program provides insight into how group psychotherapy has been studied and practiced, and how psychodrama extends and enriches this work.
Alongside theoretical learning, participants will experience the integration of psychodrama techniques within relational dynamics — “here-and-now therapy” — creating a direct bridge between theory and lived experience.
:Concepts include
• Therapeutic factors in groups • Corrective recapitulation of the primary family group • Importance of interpersonal relationships • Corrective emotional experience • The group as a social microcosm • Repetition and transformation of maladaptive relational patterns • Group cohesion • Therapeutic factors (based on research findings) • The therapist’s role in working with transference and transparency
Interpersonal Dynamics
Introduction to group processes, roles, and relational patterns. All learning takes place through the living experience of the group.
Professional Value

- InterAct was recognized in 2025 as an official training organization by FEPTO (Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organizations)
- Eligibility for credit points toward the Psychodrama & Relational Group Therapy training program

This retreat is both a deep personal journey and an entry point into a professional training path
Important to Know
This retreat does not provide full training in facilitating a “Relationship Laboratory”.
Participants who wish to reach a professional level of facilitation are invited to continue into one of InterAct’s full training programs.

The price includes professional training and a daily lunch.

Prices are issued without VAT (training abroad).
The training will be conducted in English.

Cancellation Policy
• No refund for cancellations within 30 days prior to the training
• 80% refund for cancellations between 30–45 days prior
• Full refund for cancellations more than 45 days prior
We will make efforts to offer credit toward future programs when possible.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or official registration platform.

Founders and program directors
Shay Masiach
Founder & Program Director
Shay Masiach is a sexologist and psychodrama trainer. He holds an MSc in Applied Educational Psychology and is the founder of InterAct, the largest private psychodrama school in Israel. He has over 20 years of experience working with diverse groups, trauma, sexuality, and embodied transformation. His work integrates psychodrama, dynamic group therapy, shamanism, and tantra.
Eviatar
Psychodrama Facilitator, Group Process Leader & Play Master
Eviatar is a psychodrama facilitator and group process leader based in Koh Phangan, Thailand. He has facilitated therapeutic groups at Holina Addiction & Trauma Recovery Center, working with trauma, addiction, emotional processing, relational patterns, and group dynamics. In Israel, he facilitated psychodrama groups in mental health frameworks including Enosh and Chimes Israel, supporting participants through action-based exploration and relational processes.
