Sexual energy is one of our most ancient creative forces.
It can be a source of vitality and a healer of emotional wounds.
Yet it is surrounded by a lot of shame, taboos and anxiety, which is why we often find it difficult to access it,
even in the space of psychodrama.
However, if we are able to connect with it, it can unleash enormous energy in the facilitator,
the protagonist and the whole group.
Shay Mashiach offers a course for psychodrama facilitators and dramatists in training, who want to get to know a holistic approach to sexuality.
The central belief of this approach is that sex is not only a biological and emotional driving force,
but also the source of life energy from which our creative role is born.
If the connection to sexuality is healthy and alive, it can contribute to a more fulfilled human existence
and a more complex group leadership approach and toolkit.

In order to develop this ability, Shay will use his school’s unique approach called the Relationship Arena
to work with what arises spontaneously - may it be attractions, conflicts or triggered past experiences.
This method allows you to deepen your mastery of present-moment therapeutic work
through sophisticated application of sociometric principles,
encounter methods and psychodramatic interventions.
This way, psychodramatists can harness the immediate relational field as the primary therapeutic tool,
moving beyond traditional role-playing to create authentic encounters
that facilitate profound healing in real-time.
This 2-day intensive course invites participants to an immersive journey into the natural experience of sexuality.
It builds on the following focal points:
○ Why work with sexuality in the group? How can it enrich all the roles of a person and empower the “creator of life” in people?
○ Demonstrate building up a group culture and setting that allows members to talk about sex and relate to it naturally and sensitively
○ Do self-awareness work to connect to your own sexuality deeply and with greater ease
○ Experience what a facilitator can give to the group in an educational way and on stage
○ Use embodiment practices to awaken life energy

About the trainer
Shay Masiach
Founder & Program Director
Shay Mashiach is an individual- and group-psychodrama therapist, trainer and supervisor. For the past two decades he has been training psychodrama group facilitators in his own school, InterAct. The school has become the member of FEPTO (Federation of European Psychodrama Training Organisations) organisations in 2025. The InterAct school's method uniquely combines psychodrama and dynamic group-therapy, with the dominant idea that relationships and interactions within a group can reflect and influence the individual's patterns outside the group. This therapeutic approach therefore works with in-group dynamics and interactions in the here-and-now to promote personal growth and healing. A central technique of the method is called the 'relational arena' that responds to dynamic group processes with psychodramatic interventions - so that in-group relationships are given as much attention and space in the work as individual issues. Shay holds a Master's degree in Applied Educational Psychology from North Eastern University in the US and a Master's degree in Sexual Therapy (Sexology) from the University of Haifa. He received his psychodrama training at the Kivunim Institute in Israel. In addition, he studied for 5 years with a Lakota shaman of North America on how to heal with nature, using the medicine wheel. He completed his Advanced Tantra Studies in Rishikesh, India and Classical and Traditional White Tantric Tradition at Agama Yoga School (also Indian lineage).
Anna Linda Szirmai

Anna Linda Szirmai is a psychologist, psychodramatist and organisational developer working in Budapest, Hungary for the past 15 years. She has been combining the methods of psychodrama, folk tale therapy and client-focused therapy to support adults in individual and group-therapy, organizational coaching and training programs. She has worked for NGOs, government institutions and large for profit companies alike to help people find true connections to themselves, to each other and to life. Throughout her career Anna has been actively participating in professional organisations and working towards connecting to the international stream of consciousness. She has served two terms on the leadership board of the Hungarian Psychodrama Association and created the taskforce for international relations for psychodramatists in Hungary called Budapest Psychodrama Lab. Within IAGP (International Association of Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes) she has previously served within the advisory team to the president and is currently a board member.
